2: Caspian’s little surprise
Caspian stared at the visitor with wide eyes, "What do you mean?” the visitor started her story.
"My name is Elizabeth. Our father had an affair with my mother after you were born. I’m 15 now, in case you’re wondering. My mom died a week ago. On her death bed, she told me about you. And that’s howl found you.”
Susan whispered into Caspian’s ear, ”Her hair color is exactly the same color as yours.” as she took his arm. Elizabeth dropped her head.
”How do we know you’re telling the truth?” Trumpkin asked from out of nowhere.
The lady pulled out a box from one of her bags. ”My mom told me to give this to you.” Caspian a ring out of the box and examined it carefully. Engraved on it were the words ”Caspian the 9th swears to love Lucille forever.” Caspian stared at the ring in awe and stared back at Elizabeth. She was getting paler by the minute and Iooked as if she were about to collapse. Caspian instructed a few female beavers to tend to her while they proceeded to prepare her room.
Susan followed Caspian to his room. When they were both sitting on his large bed, Susan wrapped her arms around Caspian. ”I know how big of a shock this must be to you.” She whispered into his ear. She rubbed soothing circles on his back. His arms wound around her waist and he crushed her to his chest.
