I slouched my way through the crowded hallway, my head bent down towards the floor, as always, not speaking to anyone. I reached my locker, pulled out my books for my next lesson and headed towards the classroom. It was empty, as usual, and I set down my books and sat there, staring at myself, my arms, my thighs, my belly, my FAT. I was severely overweight, and had been, ever since I could remember. My parents also, were large and plump, so I guess this was a hereditary problem.

I was always the first at all my classes, mainly because while all the other students were busy chatting with their friends in the hallways, I had no friends to chat with; therefore, I was always the first student at every class. Slowly, people began to file into homeroom. Soon after everyone was seated, Mr. Robin stood at the front of the class and behind him stood a boy who looked about my age. "Settle down people; settle down,” he said, l’We have a new student with us today. This is Theodore Price; he just transferred from West Bev. Tell us about yourself, son.” The boy looked around the class and said, "Hi, my name is Theodore and I like, um, reading.” I heard groans and mumbles that sounded like, "stupid little idiot”. Mr. Robin said, ”Very nice, you can sit over there.” He pointed at the empty seat next to me. Oh great. Just peachy. Theodore set his books down and sat down. He had chestnut brown hair and deep, sea green eyes. He took out a slip of paper as Mr. Robin launched into a story about how his cat had ruined his carpet and wrote 'Hi, I’m Theo.’ and handed it to me. I wrote back ’and I’m an Aquarius. What else is new?’ he asked if I was always that irritable and so I just didn’t respond. I was never any good at socializing, plus I wasn't in the mood today.
